Step 1. Go to Policy Object > VPN > PPTP Server and then set as below:（Figure
11-250
）
Click the Modify button.
Tick Enable PPTP.
Tick Encryption.
Tick Allow Internet access via and then select the port.
Auto-disconnect if idle for: type 0.
Enter the Client IP – IP Range.
Click OK.

1. The IT administrator may enable or disable the external users to access the Internet via the
CS-2001 device when they establish a VPN connection with the CS-2001 device.
2. Auto-disconnect if idle for: if the VPN connection is idle for the defined times, it will be
disconnected automatically.
